Ask the assistant you already use about Sofina, GBL, Exor or Investor AB. It reads Opulion the way you would: every figure with its date, its source and the link to the page.
The address to give your assistant
Opulion speaks MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard assistants use to connect to a data source. One address is enough, with no account and no key:
https://opulion.com/api/mcp
Read-only, no sign-in. The assistant cannot write or buy anything, and receives no personal data.
What your assistant can do
List the investment companies Opulion covers.
Read a company's profile: assets, debt, share price, net asset value per share and the gap between them, with their dates, the breakdown of what it holds, its ten largest businesses held and its upcoming publications.
List its holdings: name, published weight, stake, listed or not, date.
Find who holds a business: which covered companies hold Mistral AI or ByteDance, with the weight or stake they publish and its date.
See what a portfolio of several companies really holds: the businesses reached through them, and their share of the whole.
Read Opulion's latest articles in full, with their sources.
Questions to try
What does Sofina really hold at its latest published date?
Compare the gap between share price and net asset value at GBL and Exor, with the dates.
If I hold half GBL, half Sofina, which businesses do I own underneath?
Which companies covered by Opulion hold ByteDance, and at what weight?
How to connect, assistant by assistant
Checked on Oct 8, 2026 against each vendor's official documentation. Menus change: if a name has moved, the linked documentation prevails.

In claude.ai, open Customize, then Connectors, and choose "Add custom connector". Paste the address, choose not to sign in, then Add. In a conversation, the + button then Connectors turns Opulion on.
All plans. The free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise, the organisation owner adds it for everyone.
On chatgpt.com, open Settings, then Apps. In the advanced settings, turn on developer mode, then "Create app": paste the address, with no authentication. In a conversation, the + menu then Developer mode turns Opulion on.
On the web, Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education plans. OpenAI reserves this mode for experienced users: Opulion only offers reads there.
In your agent, open Tools, then Add a tool, New tool, Model Context Protocol. Enter a name, a description and the address, choose authentication None, then Create and Add to agent.
For your organisation's Copilot Studio agents, under the data policies set by its administrator.
Open Connectors, then "+ Add Connector" and the Custom MCP Connector tab. Name it opulion, paste the address, then Connect: no authentication is asked.
Adding a connector is up to the account administrator, who is the account holder on an individual account.
From the command line, Gemini CLI connects in one line:
gemini mcp add -s user --transport http opulion https://opulion.com/api/mcp
The Gemini app also accepts custom apps, but only with a personal Google account, in the United States and in English, and it usually expects a sign-in. We have not yet tested it with Opulion.
